Definition
A fishway is a human-made passage (such as a fish ladder or bypass channel) that helps fish migrate past barriers like dams, restoring access to spawning and feeding habitats.
फिशवे (मत्स्य-पथ) एक मानव-निर्मित मार्ग (जैसे फिश लैडर/सीढ़ीनुमा मार्ग या बायपास चैनल) है जो बांध/वेयर जैसी बाधाओं को पार करके मछलियों के प्रवासन में मदद करता है और उन्हें प्रजनन व भोजन वाले आवासों तक पहुँच दिलाता है।
