Definition
A finger is one of the four long digits on a human hand (not the thumb), used to touch, hold, and point; by extension it can mean a finger-like shape (e.g., a finger of land) or, as a verb, to identify someone, feel with the fingers, or use specific finger positions on an instrument.
Finger (उँगली) मानव हाथ की चार लंबी उँगलियों में से एक है (अंगूठे को छोड़कर), जिसका उपयोग छूने, पकड़ने और इशारा करने में होता है; विस्तार से यह उँगली जैसी आकृति (जैसे ज़मीन का उभरा हुआ हिस्सा) के लिए भी आता है, और क्रिया के रूप में किसी को पहचानकर बताने, उँगलियों से टटोलने, या वाद्य पर उँगलियों की स्थिति से सुर निकालने के अर्थ में भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
