Definition
A ferroalloy is a metal product made by combining iron with other elements (e.g., manganese, silicon, chromium). It is added to molten steel to adjust composition and improve properties like hardness, strength, corrosion resistance, or deoxidation.
फेरोएलॉय लोहे और अन्य तत्वों (जैसे मैंगनीज़, सिलिकॉन, क्रोमियम) को मिलाकर बनाया गया धातु उत्पाद है। इसे पिघले हुए इस्पात में मिलाकर संघटन बदला जाता है और कठोरता, मजबूती, जंग-प्रतिरोध या डी-ऑक्सीडेशन जैसी विशेषताएँ सुधारी जाती हैं।
