Relating to the biochemical process in which microorganisms (such as yeast or bacteria) break down sugars into acids, gases, or alcohol, often producing heat and bubbles; also describing products or conditions that promote such a process.
किण्वन से संबंधित—यह एक जैवरासायनिक प्रक्रिया है जिसमें सूक्ष्मजीव (जैसे यीस्ट या बैक्टीरिया) शर्करा को अम्ल, गैस या अल्कोहल में बदलते हैं; यह शब्द उन पदार्थों/स्थितियों के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है जो किण्वन को बढ़ावा दें या उससे उत्पन्न हों।
