Definition
“Fathered” is the past form of “father.” It can mean (1) someone became the biological father of a child (sired), (2) something caused or originated an idea/movement/event, (3) someone acted in a fatherly way by supporting and nurturing, (4) someone arranged for a child/person to have a father figure, or (5) someone adopted and treated another as their own.
