From Latin exudare (“to sweat out”), from ex- (“out”) + sudare (“to sweat”); later used in scientific/medical English as exudate for the oozed fluid.
लैटिन exudare (“बाहर पसीना/रिसाव निकलना”) से, जिसमें ex- (“बाहर”) + sudare (“पसीना आना”) शामिल है; बाद में वैज्ञानिक/चिकित्सीय अंग्रेज़ी में रिसे हुए द्रव के लिए exudate के रूप में प्रयोग होने लगा।
Definition
An exudate is a fluid that leaks or oozes out of living tissue (such as from a wound, inflamed area, plant pore, or animal pore), often containing proteins, cells, and other material; in medicine it commonly refers to wound discharge or inflammatory fluid.
एक्सुडेट वह द्रव है जो जीवित ऊतक से रिसकर/बहकर बाहर आता है (जैसे घाव, सूजन वाला भाग, पौधे या जानवर के रोमछिद्र), जिसमें अक्सर प्रोटीन, कोशिकाएँ और अन्य पदार्थ होते हैं; चिकित्सा में यह प्रायः घाव का स्राव या सूजनजन्य द्रव को कहा जाता है।
