From Greek eu- (“good, well”) + -pathy (from Greek pathos “feeling, suffering”); literally “good feeling,” later used for “well-being/health.”
ग्रीक eu- (अर्थ: ‘अच्छा/भला’) + -pathy (ग्रीक pathos ‘अनुभूति/पीड़ा’ से); शाब्दिक अर्थ ‘अच्छी अनुभूति’, और बाद में ‘कल्याण/अच्छा स्वास्थ्य’ के अर्थ में प्रयुक्त।
