From Greek eudaimōn ‘happy, prosperous’ (eu ‘good’ + daimōn ‘divinity/spirit’) via eudaemonism + English suffix -ical.
यूनानी eudaimōn ‘सुखी/समृद्ध’ (eu ‘अच्छा’ + daimōn ‘देवता/आत्मा’) से, eudaemonism के माध्यम से और अंग्रेज़ी प्रत्यय -ical जोड़कर बना।
Definition
Pertaining to the ethical doctrine that the highest good is happiness (well-being/flourishing), and that actions or policies are judged by how much they promote human welfare.
