Definition
Enterobiasis is an infection of the intestines by pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis), commonly spread through ingestion of microscopic eggs from contaminated hands, surfaces, bedding, or clothing; it often causes perianal itching, disturbed sleep, and can spread easily among children and household contacts.
एंटरोबायसिस (Enterobiasis) पिनवर्म/सूत्रकृमि (Enterobius vermicularis) से होने वाला आंतों का परजीवी संक्रमण है, जो प्रायः दूषित हाथों, सतहों, बिस्तर या कपड़ों पर मौजूद सूक्ष्म अंडों के निगलने से फैलता है; इसमें खासकर रात में गुदा के आसपास खुजली, नींद में बाधा, और बच्चों व परिवार के सदस्यों में आसानी से फैलने की प्रवृत्ति देखी जाती है।
