यूनानी endon (अर्थ: ‘भीतर’) + sarx/sarkos (अर्थ: ‘मांस/देह’) से; जीवविज्ञान में कुछ प्रोटोज़ोआ के भीतरी द्रव्य/परत के लिए प्रयुक्त शब्द।
Definition
Endosarc is the inner layer of cytoplasm (protoplasm) in certain unicellular organisms (e.g., amoebae), typically more granular and fluid than the outer layer (ectosarc), and involved in internal movement and digestion.
एंडोसार्क कुछ एककोशिकीय जीवों (जैसे अमीबा) में साइटोप्लाज़्म/प्रोटोप्लाज़्म की भीतरी परत है, जो बाहरी परत (एक्टोसार्क) की तुलना में अधिक दानेदार और तरल होती है तथा आंतरिक गति और पाचन जैसी क्रियाओं में भूमिका निभाती है।
