Definition
Encipherment is the process of transforming readable information (plaintext) into an encoded form (ciphertext) so that only someone with the correct key or method can read it.
एनसाइफ़रमेंट वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें पढ़ी जा सकने वाली जानकारी (प्लेनटेक्स्ट) को कूटित रूप (साइफ़रटेक्स्ट) में बदला जाता है ताकि केवल सही कुंजी या विधि वाला व्यक्ति ही उसे पढ़ सके।
