Empathize शब्द empathy (20वीं सदी के प्रारम्भ) से बना है, जिसका मूल यूनानी em- ‘अंदर/में’ + pathos ‘भावना/दुःख’ है।
Definition
To empathize (past tense: empathized) means to imaginatively place yourself in another person’s situation so you can understand and often share their feelings, and respond with sensitivity.
Empathize (भूतकाल: empathized) का अर्थ है अपने आपको कल्पना में दूसरे व्यक्ति की स्थिति में रखकर उसकी भावनाओं को समझना (और अक्सर उन्हें महसूस करना) तथा संवेदनशीलता से प्रतिक्रिया देना।
