Definition
Emollience is the quality of soothing, softening, or making something less harsh—most commonly describing a substance (like a cream or oil) that softens the skin, and sometimes describing a gentle, smooth manner.
एमोलिएन्स का अर्थ है शांत करने, नरम करने या किसी चीज़ की कठोरता कम करने का गुण—यह प्रायः ऐसे पदार्थ (जैसे क्रीम या तेल) के लिए कहा जाता है जो त्वचा को मुलायम करता है, और कभी-कभी किसी व्यक्ति के कोमल/मृदु व्यवहार या वाणी की चिकनाई के लिए भी।
