Definition
Ecdysis is the biological process in which an animal sheds its outer covering—such as a snake shedding its skin or an insect/crustacean shedding its exoskeleton—to allow growth or renewal.
एक्डाइसिस वह जैविक प्रक्रिया है जिसमें कोई जीव अपनी बाहरी परत छोड़ता है—जैसे साँप का केंचुली उतारना या कीट/क्रस्टेशियन का बाह्यकंकाल छोड़ना—ताकि वृद्धि या नवीनीकरण हो सके।
