From Greek dyo- 'two' + physis 'nature', plus the English suffix -ism, used in Christian theological terminology for the doctrine of 'two natures' in Christ.
यूनानी dyo- (अर्थ: 'दो') + physis (अर्थ: 'प्रकृति') तथा अंग्रेज़ी प्रत्यय -ism से बना; ईसाई धर्मशास्त्रीय शब्दावली में मसीह में 'दो प्रकृतियों' के सिद्धांत के लिए प्रयुक्त।
Definition
Dyophysitism is a Christological doctrine stating that in the one person of Jesus Christ there are two complete natures, divine and human, without confusion, change, division, or separation.
डाइओफिसिटिज़्म ईसाई धर्मशास्त्र (क्राइस्टोलॉजी) का वह सिद्धांत है जिसके अनुसार यीशु मसीह के एक ही व्यक्ति में दो पूर्ण प्रकृतियाँ—दैवी और मानवी—अविभाज्य रूप से एक साथ विद्यमान हैं, बिना मिश्रण, परिवर्तन, विभाजन या अलगाव के।
