From down + side; recorded in modern English with the sense of the negative side of something; later also used in finance for downward movement in prices.
'down' + 'side' से बना; आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में किसी चीज़ के नकारात्मक पक्ष के अर्थ में प्रचलित हुआ; बाद में वित्त में कीमतों की नीचे की दिशा/गिरावट के लिए भी उपयोग होने लगा।
Definition
The downside is the harmful, negative, or less favorable part of a situation, plan, or benefit; in finance it can also mean a fall or risk of falling in prices.
'Downside' किसी स्थिति, योजना या लाभ का नुकसानदेह/कम अनुकूल पहलू होता है; वित्त में इसका अर्थ कीमतों में गिरावट या गिरने के जोखिम से भी हो सकता है।
