Dodoism is an informal, often witty term for treating an idea, policy, organization, or practice as extinct, outdated, or inevitably failing—like the dodo bird. It can also describe a cynical acceptance that something has become irrelevant and cannot be revived.
डोडोइज़्म एक अनौपचारिक (अक्सर व्यंग्यात्मक) शब्द है, जिसका प्रयोग किसी विचार, नीति, संगठन या प्रथा को विलुप्त, पुराना या अनिवार्य रूप से असफल मानने के लिए किया जाता है—डोडो पक्षी की तरह। यह उस निंदक स्वीकार को भी दर्शा सकता है कि कोई चीज़ अप्रासंगिक हो चुकी है और उसे फिर से जीवित नहीं किया जा सकता।
