Definition
Diligence means steady, careful, and persistent effort in doing a task, showing responsibility and attention to detail; it can also mean thorough checking or investigation, especially in business or law (due diligence).
Diligence का अर्थ है किसी काम को लगातार, सावधानी और लगन से करना—जिम्मेदारी और बारीकियों पर ध्यान के साथ; यह विशेषकर व्यापार या क़ानून में किसी विषय की पूरी जाँच‑पड़ताल/परख (due diligence) के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
