Demonetisation is a government or central-bank action that stops certain currency notes/coins from being legal tender, usually to curb black money, counterfeiting, corruption, or to shift to a new currency system.
विमुद्रीकरण सरकार या केंद्रीय बैंक की वह कार्रवाई है जिसमें कुछ मुद्रा नोट/सिक्कों को वैध भुगतान माध्यम (लीगल टेंडर) नहीं रहने दिया जाता, आमतौर पर काला धन, नकली नोट, भ्रष्टाचार रोकने या नई मुद्रा व्यवस्था लागू करने के लिए।
