Definition
Dehumidification is the removal of excess water vapor from air to lower relative humidity, improving comfort, preventing mold growth, and protecting materials and equipment; it is commonly done using air conditioners, refrigerant dehumidifiers, or desiccants.
डीह्यूमिडिफ़िकेशन (आर्द्रता-निष्कासन) वायु से अतिरिक्त जलवाष्प को हटाकर सापेक्ष आर्द्रता कम करने की प्रक्रिया है, जिससे आराम बढ़ता है, फफूंदी (मोल्ड) का विकास रुकता है और सामग्री/उपकरण सुरक्षित रहते हैं; यह प्रायः एअर कंडीशनर, रेफ्रिजरेंट डीह्यूमिडिफ़ायर या डेसिकेंट (शोषक) द्वारा किया जाता है।
