Origin & History
Coined in modern philosophy of logic/science from deductive + -ism, ultimately from Latin dēdūcere (“to lead down; derive”).
आधुनिक तर्क/विज्ञान-दर्शन में deductive + -ism से बना शब्द; इसकी जड़ लैटिन dēdūcere में है, जिसका अर्थ है “नीचे ले जाना; व्युत्पन्न/निकालना।”
Definition
Deductivism is the view that valid deductive reasoning (deriving conclusions that must follow from given premises) is central or primary in inquiry and justification, often contrasted with approaches that prioritize induction or empirical generalization.
डिडक्टिविज़्म वह दृष्टिकोण है जिसमें वैध निगमनात्मक तर्क (ऐसे निष्कर्ष निकालना जो दिए गए आधार-वाक्यों से अनिवार्य रूप से निकलते हों) को जाँच-पड़ताल और औचित्य/प्रमाणीकरण का केंद्रीय या प्रमुख साधन माना जाता है; इसे अक्सर आगमन या अनुभवजन्य सामान्यीकरण को प्राथमिकता देने वाले दृष्टिकोणों के विपरीत रखा जाता है।
