Definition
Decurions were officials in ancient Rome, typically serving as members of a municipal senate (local town council) responsible for local governance, finance, and public duties; the term can also refer to leaders of a group of ten.
डेक्यूरियन प्राचीन रोम के अधिकारी थे, जो सामान्यतः नगर-प्रशासन (स्थानीय नगर परिषद/सीनेट) के सदस्य होते थे और स्थानीय शासन, वित्त तथा सार्वजनिक दायित्वों के लिए जिम्मेदार थे; यह शब्द कभी-कभी दस लोगों के समूह के नेता/कमांडर के अर्थ में भी आता है।
