Dawn shabd (Old English dagian, dæg ‘day’ se) se + -ing; is par Old Norse dagna ka bhi prabhav mana jata hai.

Definition

Dawning refers to (1) the time when daylight begins (daybreak), and (2) a moment when an idea, truth, or realization begins to become clear, as in “it dawned on me.” It can also mean the early beginning or first promise of something.

Dawning ka matlab hai (1) subah ka pehla ujala/saavera (daybreak), aur (2) woh pal jab koi baat, sachchai ya samajh dheere-dheere spasht hone lage—jaise “mujh par baat dawn hui.” Yeh kisi cheez ke shuruaati sanket ya pehli shuruat ko bhi darshata hai.
