Definition
“Dancing” is the present participle/gerund of “dance.” It can describe (1) the action of moving with rhythmic steps (often to music), (2) something that moves lightly/quickly (e.g., eyes or light “dancing”), or (3) the activity of taking part in a dance. In informal/slang use it can also be a euphemism for sex.
