Origin & History
From the verb “cube” (to form into a cube), from Latin cubus via Greek kybos (“cube, die”); “cubing” is the -ing noun/gerund form, later also used for the Rubik’s Cube hobby.
यह क्रिया “cube” (घन बनाना/घनाकार करना) से बना है, जिसका मूल लैटिन cubus और ग्रीक kybos (“घन, पासा”) में है; “cubing” इसका -ing रूप (संज्ञा/क्रिया-रूप) है, और बाद में रुबिक क्यूब के शौक/खेल के लिए भी प्रयोग होने लगा।
Definition
Cubing means cutting or shaping something into small cubes, especially in cooking or manufacturing; it can also mean solving a Rubik’s Cube as a hobby or sport (speedcubing).
क्यूबिंग का अर्थ किसी चीज़ को छोटे-छोटे घनों (क्यूब) के रूप में काटना या बनाना होता है, खासकर खाना पकाने या निर्माण में; इसका अर्थ रुबिक क्यूब (और ऐसे ही पहेलियों) को शौक या खेल (स्पीडक्यूबिंग) के रूप में हल करना भी हो सकता है।
