Definition
Cryosurgery is a treatment in which a very cold substance (commonly liquid nitrogen) is applied via a probe or spray to freeze cells so they die and the targeted tissue can be removed or naturally shed. It is used for some skin lesions, warts, precancerous changes, and certain tumors, depending on clinical suitability.
क्रायोसर्जरी एक उपचार है जिसमें अत्यधिक ठंडा पदार्थ (आमतौर पर तरल नाइट्रोजन) प्रोब या स्प्रे के माध्यम से लगाया जाता है ताकि कोशिकाएँ जमकर नष्ट हो जाएँ और लक्षित ऊतक हटाया जा सके या स्वयं झड़ जाए। इसका उपयोग कुछ त्वचा-घावों, मस्सों, पूर्व-कैंसर परिवर्तनों और कुछ ट्यूमर में (चिकित्सकीय उपयुक्तता के अनुसार) किया जाता है।
