From the verb crash (to break in suddenly / collide) + the agent suffix -er, popularized in the sense of “uninvited guest” by the phrase gatecrasher (early 20th century).

Definition
A crasher is someone who goes to a party, wedding, or other event without an invitation or permission; in some contexts it can also mean a vehicle/thing that crashes or a person involved in a crash.
