From Middle English cousyn, from Old French cosin, ultimately from Latin consobrinus (“mother’s sister’s child; cousin”).

Definition
A cousin is the son or daughter of your aunt or uncle; in extended use it can also mean a more distant relative who shares a common ancestor (such as a second cousin).
Cousin वह व्यक्ति (लड़का/लड़की) है जो आपके चाचा/ताऊ/मामा/फूफा या बुआ/चाची/मौसी/फूफी की संतान हो; व्यापक अर्थ में यह ऐसे दूर के रिश्तेदार के लिए भी कहा जाता है जिसका साझा पूर्वज हो (जैसे second cousin)।
