“Costing” क्रिया “cost” से बना है (मध्य अंग्रेज़ी; पुरानी फ़्रेंच coste/coster; लैटिन constare ‘कीमत/मात्रा होना’), जिसमें -ing प्रत्यय जोड़कर वर्तमान कृदंत/क्रियावाचक संज्ञा बनाई गई है।
Definition
Costing refers (1) to determining or estimating the cost of a product, project, or service, especially in accounting and business, and (2) to something that is currently requiring payment or having a certain price (e.g., “It is costing me a lot”).
Costing का अर्थ (1) किसी उत्पाद, परियोजना या सेवा की लागत निकालने/अनुमानित करने की प्रक्रिया (विशेषकर लेखांकन व व्यवसाय में) और (2) किसी चीज़ का अभी खर्च करवाना या किसी निश्चित कीमत का होना (जैसे “यह मुझे बहुत महँगा पड़ रहा है”)।
