From cornice (via French corniche, from Italian cornice), ultimately related to the idea of a projecting ledge; cornicing is formed by adding the -ing suffix to mean the act/process.

Definition
Cornicing refers to installing or shaping a cornice—typically a decorative moulding along the top edge where a wall meets a ceiling, or on the exterior of a building for ornament and rain-shedding detail.
कॉर्निसिंग का अर्थ कॉर्निस (आमतौर पर दीवार और छत के जोड़ पर, या इमारत के बाहरी ऊपरी किनारे पर बनी सजावटी मोल्डिंग) को लगाना, बनाना या उससे सजावट करना है; यह सौंदर्य और कई बार पानी के बहाव/संरक्षण में भी मदद करता है।
