Definition
A corkscrew is a device used to pull a cork out of a bottle (especially wine), typically by turning a spiral metal “worm” into the cork and then pulling it out; the word can also describe a spiral shape/movement (e.g., a corkscrew turn) or, figuratively, forcing information out of someone.
