Definition
Something is copyrightable if it is an original work of authorship fixed in a tangible medium (e.g., text, music, art, software), and not merely an idea, fact, or short phrase.
कोई कृति तब “copyrightable” होती है जब वह मौलिक (original) रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति हो और किसी ठोस माध्यम में दर्ज/स्थिर हो (जैसे पाठ, संगीत, कला, सॉफ़्टवेयर); केवल विचार, तथ्य, या बहुत छोटा वाक्यांश सामान्यतः कॉपीराइट योग्य नहीं होता।
