Definition
Contraband refers to items that the law forbids bringing into or taking out of a country, or possessing/trading, especially when moved secretly to avoid customs or police.
कॉन्ट्राबैंड उन वस्तुओं को कहते हैं जिन्हें कानून के अनुसार देश में लाना, देश से बाहर ले जाना, रखना या उनका व्यापार करना अवैध हो—खासकर जब उन्हें सीमा-शुल्क या पुलिस से बचाकर चोरी-छिपे ले जाया जाए।
