From Latin concoquere (“to cook together”), from con- (“together”) + coquere (“to cook”); via Medieval Latin/early French forms, later used in English for mixtures and figurative ‘made-up’ things.
लैटिन concoquere (“साथ पकाना/मिलाकर पकाना”) से; con- (“साथ”) + coquere (“पकाना”)। मध्यकालीन लैटिन/प्रारम्भिक फ़्रेंच रूपों के माध्यम से यह अंग्रेज़ी में आया और बाद में मिश्रणों तथा रूपक रूप से ‘मनगढ़ंत’ बातों के अर्थ में भी प्रयोग होने लगा।
