Definition
To make a person do something they do not want to do by using pressure such as threats, intimidation, or misuse of authority; also used more generally for forcing or restraining (e.g., by law), and in computing for converting one data type to another.
किसी व्यक्ति को उसकी इच्छा के विरुद्ध धमकी, डराने-धमकाने, दबाव या अधिकार के दुरुपयोग से कुछ करने पर मजबूर करना; व्यापक अर्थ में (कानून/अधिकार से) नियंत्रित/दबाना भी, और कंप्यूटिंग में एक डेटा टाइप को दूसरे में बदलने (type conversion) के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है।
