Definition
Chirping refers to short, sharp, often cheerful sounds made by small birds or insects like crickets; it can also describe someone speaking in a high-pitched, rapid, staccato way. In radar/sonar/radio systems, it means shaping a pulse so its frequency sweeps across a range during the pulse.
'Chirping' का अर्थ छोटे पक्षियों या झींगुर जैसे कीड़ों की छोटी, तीखी और अक्सर आनंदपूर्ण ध्वनि (चहचहाहट) से है; यह किसी के ऊँची, तेज़ और टुकड़ों-टुकड़ों (स्टैकैटो) में बोलने के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है। रडार/सोनार/रेडियो प्रणालियों में इसका अर्थ संकेत-धड़कन (पल्स) की आवृत्ति को उसकी अवधि के दौरान एक सीमा में क्रमशः बदलते हुए 'स्वीप' कराना (चिर्प) है।
