Definition
Chayote is a type of gourd/squash native to Mesoamerica; its fruit is eaten cooked or raw, and the seed and tender shoots can also be eaten.
चायोटे (चायोट) कद्दू/लौकी कुल की एक सब्ज़ी है जो मूलतः मध्य अमेरिका की है; इसका फल कच्चा या पकाकर खाया जाता है, और इसका बीज तथा कोमल बेल/अंकुर भी खाद्य होते हैं।
