A modern technical compound from cell (a small unit in a grid/table) + -wise (“in the manner of; with respect to”), widely used in computing, spreadsheets, and numerical linear algebra; also seen as “cellwise.”
यह आधुनिक तकनीकी संयुक्त शब्द cell (ग्रिड/तालिका की छोटी इकाई) + -wise (“के अनुसार/के संदर्भ में; तरीके से”) से बना है; कंप्यूटिंग, स्प्रेडशीट और संख्यात्मक रैखिक बीजगणित में व्यापक रूप से प्रयुक्त; “cellwise” रूप भी मिलता है।
Definition
Used to describe an operation or comparison performed individually on every cell of a table/grid (e.g., spreadsheet cells or matrix elements), rather than on the whole row, column, or dataset at once.
