A casserole is (1) a covered ovenproof dish used for baking and serving food, and (2) the dish of food (often a baked mixture or stew) cooked in it; as a verb, it means to cook by stewing/baking in a casserole-style method.
कैसरोल (1) ढक्कन वाला ओवन-प्रूफ बर्तन है (अक्सर काँच या मिट्टी का) जिसमें खाना बेक किया जाता है और कभी-कभी उसी में परोसा भी जाता है, और (2) उसी बर्तन में पकाया गया भोजन (अकसर बेक किया हुआ मिश्रित व्यंजन या स्ट्यू); क्रिया के रूप में इसका अर्थ कैसरोल-शैली में धीमी आँच/ओवन में स्ट्यू या बेक करके पकाना है।
