From case + worker; in social services, it developed to mean a worker responsible for individual cases (especially welfare and child protection).
'case' (मामला/प्रकरण) + 'worker' (कार्यकर्ता) से बना; सामाजिक सेवाओं में इसका अर्थ उन कर्मचारियों के लिए विकसित हुआ जो व्यक्तिगत मामलों (विशेषकर कल्याण और बाल-सुरक्षा) की जिम्मेदारी संभालते हैं।
Definition
A caseworker is a person, often employed by a social service agency or government department, who is responsible for assessing clients’ needs, keeping case records, and arranging or coordinating help such as housing, healthcare, counseling, or child protection services.
केसवर्कर वह व्यक्ति होता है, जो अक्सर सामाजिक सेवा संस्था या सरकारी विभाग में कार्यरत होता है और ग्राहकों/लाभार्थियों की जरूरतों का आकलन, केस रिकॉर्ड बनाए रखना, तथा आवास, स्वास्थ्य-सेवा, परामर्श या बाल-सुरक्षा जैसी सहायता की व्यवस्था या समन्वय करने की जिम्मेदारी निभाता है।
