From Latin canīnus (“of a dog”), from canis (“dog”); “canine tooth” refers to the pointed tooth resembling a dog’s fang.
लैटिन canīnus (अर्थ: “कुत्ते का/कुत्ते से संबंधित”) से, जो canis (“कुत्ता”) से बना है; “canine tooth” नुकीले दाँत के लिए आया, जिसे कुत्ते के दाँत/नुकीले दाँत जैसा माना गया।
Definition
“Canines” most commonly refers to either (a) animals in the dog group (dogs, wolves, coyotes, jackals, etc.) or (b) the pointed teeth called canine teeth (the teeth between incisors and premolars). In some poker contexts, it can also mean a King and Nine starting hand.
