From the verb cancel (Middle English), from Anglo-French/Old French canceler, ultimately from Latin cancellāre ‘to cross out, make like lattice’, from cancelli ‘lattice, grating’.

Definition
Canceling is the process of deciding that an event, order, plan, or agreement will not happen or continue, often by officially withdrawing it; it can also mean making something ineffective or null by an equal and opposite effect (as in canceling out).
Canceling का अर्थ है किसी कार्यक्रम, आदेश, योजना या समझौते को होने या जारी रहने से रोकने/वापस लेने की प्रक्रिया, अक्सर औपचारिक रूप से; इसका अर्थ किसी चीज़ को बराबर और विपरीत प्रभाव से निष्प्रभावी या शून्य करना भी हो सकता है (जैसे canceling out)।
