Definition
Buffing is the process of rubbing a material (often metal, wood, paint, leather, or plastic) with a cloth, pad, or rotating wheel—sometimes with polishing compound—to remove scratches/oxidation and produce a smooth, shiny finish.
बफिंग वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें धातु, लकड़ी, पेंट, चमड़ा या प्लास्टिक जैसी सतह को कपड़े/पैड/घूमते पहिये (कभी-कभी पॉलिशिंग कंपाउंड के साथ) से रगड़कर खरोंच या ऑक्सिडेशन हटाया जाता है और सतह को चिकना व चमकदार बनाया जाता है।
