Definition
“Born” is mainly used as an adjective meaning ‘having come into life’ or ‘originating from a particular place/time’, and also in phrases like ‘born to’ (naturally suited) and ‘born and bred’ (raised in a place). It is also the past participle of ‘bear’ meaning ‘to give birth to’.
