Definition
A biplane is an aircraft design with two stacked wings (upper and lower) connected by struts and wires; it was common in early aviation because it provided strong structure and good lift at low speeds.
बाइप्लेन ऐसा विमान होता है जिसमें दो मुख्य पंख (ऊपर और नीचे) एक-दूसरे के ऊपर लगे होते हैं और उन्हें स्ट्रट्स/तारों से सहारा दिया जाता है; शुरुआती विमानन में यह डिज़ाइन मज़बूती और कम गति पर अच्छा लिफ्ट देने के कारण बहुत प्रचलित था।
