Definition
A biotoxin is a poisonous substance made naturally by a living organism (such as bacteria, algae, plants, or animals) and it can cause illness or harm in humans or other animals, often through food, water, or contact.
बायोटॉक्सिन वह विषैला पदार्थ है जो किसी जीवित जीव (जैसे बैक्टीरिया, शैवाल, पौधे या जानवर) द्वारा प्राकृतिक रूप से बनाया जाता है और यह भोजन, पानी या संपर्क के माध्यम से मनुष्यों या अन्य जानवरों में बीमारी या नुकसान पहुँचा सकता है।
