Definition
A bascule is a counterweighted mechanism (often seen in bascule bridges) where one side goes up while the other goes down to balance movement; in firearms, it is the hinged/pivoting part that opens to expose the chamber for loading.
बेस्क्यूल एक प्रतिवज़नी (काउंटर-वेट) तंत्र है (जैसे बेस्क्यूल/ड्रॉब्रिज में) जिसमें संतुलन के लिए एक सिरा ऊपर उठता है तो दूसरा नीचे जाता है; आग्नेयास्त्रों में यह वह काजयुक्त/धुरी पर घूमने वाला भाग है जो चैम्बर तक पहुँच के लिए खुलता है।
