Definition
A bandmaster is the person in charge of a band who conducts rehearsals and performances, sets musical interpretation and tempo, and often oversees discipline, training, and organization of the musicians (commonly in military, school, or community bands).
बैंडमास्टर वह व्यक्ति होता है जो किसी बैंड का प्रभारी होता है; वह अभ्यास और प्रस्तुतियों का संचालन करता है, संगीत की व्याख्या और ताल/गति निर्धारित करता है, और अक्सर संगीतकारों के प्रशिक्षण, अनुशासन तथा संगठन की जिम्मेदारी भी निभाता है (विशेषकर सैन्य, स्कूल या सामुदायिक बैंड में)।
