From Middle English *balled/balde*, from a Germanic root meaning “white, shining” (later associated with a bare head).
मध्य अंग्रेज़ी *balled/balde* से; जर्मैनिक मूल से जिसका अर्थ “सफेद/चमकदार” था (बाद में ‘नंगा/खाली सिर’ के अर्थ से जुड़ गया)।
Definition
Bald describes someone or something with little or no hair (or a hair-like covering). It can also describe a tyre with worn tread, a bare/treeless summit, or a statement that is plain or made without evidence.
'Bald' का अर्थ है किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु पर बाल (या बाल-जैसी परत) न होना। इसका उपयोग घिसे हुए टायर, पेड़ों से रहित पहाड़ी चोटी, या किसी ऐसे कथन के लिए भी होता है जो बिना साक्ष्य के/सादा रूप में कहा गया हो।
