Definition
Astrology is a belief-based system that uses the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and constellations (often at the time of a person’s birth) to interpret personality traits and to predict or advise about future events; it is distinct from astronomy, which is a scientific study of space.
ज्योतिष एक विश्वास-आधारित पद्धति है जिसमें सूर्य, चन्द्रमा, ग्रहों और नक्षत्रों/राशियों की स्थितियों (अक्सर जन्म के समय) के आधार पर व्यक्तित्व की व्याख्या की जाती है और भविष्य की घटनाओं के बारे में अनुमान या सलाह दी जाती है; यह खगोल विज्ञान से अलग है, जो अंतरिक्ष का वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन है।
